History of the fort

A little history...
"Napoleonic fort"

The fort of Cap Lévi, built at the beginning of the 19th century, took part in the defense of the harbor of Cherbourg, transformed into a second home by Charles henry dumas-vence until 1939.

The fort resumed service during the First and Second World Wars where it was bombed during the latter.

Bought by Mr Félix Amiot, owner of the CMN, who converted it into a prestigious residence for his distinguished guests. Located in the heart of the Val de Saire coastline, today it is a place of discovery and a stay in a group lodge.
